Education is a part of the work that we do at the MFL Occupational Health Centre (OHC). We try to provide you with information and skills you need to make your workplaces safe and healthy.
People learn best when education is active, relevant and practical. Our approach to education starts with your experiences on the job. We work with you to develop a common understanding of problems and workable plans for change.
Our educational and outreach
services include Tuesday morning sessions on the first and third Tuesday morning
from the fall to the spring, we hold one-hour educational meetings on current
issues in occupational health and safety. These are free and open to anyone.

We are committed to working with people that face special barriers in the workplace. We have developed links with young workers, immigrant workers, and workers and employers in rural and northern Manitoba. In addition, we have developed special fact sheets and information kits for young workers, immigrant workers, and small business.
